Kathy Espinoza Perez is graduate from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) where she studied Architectural Design and photography. She is currently based in East Hampton, New York. Her time at MICA allowed her to explore a plethora of mediums that have allowed her to grow as a designer. She is not only an architectural designer, but a visual storyteller and a creative thinker. Kathy is a multidisciplinary designer with experience in film and digital photography, graphic design, drawing, digital fabrication and mixed media. Her practice is driven by her passion for creating narratives through design. She believes that good design should always enhance the users’ experience and that of its surrounding environment. In her free time Kathy enjoys experimenting with new recipes, reading and game nights with her family.
